    Galveston County Food Bank

    As a result of our Annual 0.5K Fun "Run", Z Krewe has donated over $16,000 for the Kid's Summer Meal program. Many Z Krewe members also volunteer each year to help build those "Kidz Pacz" to help feed children during the summer months.

    Pancake Day

    At Holy Family Catholic School

    It's a Z Krewe tradition to celebrate Pancake Day on Fat Tuesday by providing and serving breakfast at a local Catholic school.

    Special People's Ball

    A party for special needs children from a tri-state Area

    Z Krewe helps the organizers of this ball celebrate the spirit of mardi gras by handing out beads to hundreds of children and their caretakers. Photo opportunities with our Royal court is always popular with the kids.

    Supporting the Clean Galveston Organization

    Z Krewe participates in the annual beach clean-up day.

    Winners of Annual Poster Contest

    Cash awards were given for placing in the Krewe's poster contest. First and second runner up went to children from Tegeler Career Center in Pasadena. The third runner-up came from Seabrook Intermediate School.

    Ronald McDonald House of Galveston

    Providing food and supplies

    Z Krewe organized a collection of food and supplies from members for donation. These supplies are used by families who are seeking medical treatment from the University of Texas Medical Branch, the Shriner's Hospital for Children and the Transitional Learning Center.

    The Zanies took over Galveston City Council Chambers as they accepted the city's proclamation of February 22, 2020, as Z Krewe Day in Galveston.
